Samsung Opens Three New Experiential Retail Locations

Samsung's customers recently told the retailer they love having the ability to walk into a store and experience how the latest Samsung technology works together to create a unique, immersive experience. Galaxy phone fans, in particular, mentioned that they were looking for a space to call their own, a place where they can get a feel for Samsung products first-hand.

To this end, the retailer has opened three Samsung Experience Stores as it celebrates ten years of its Galaxy phone. Locations include: The Americana at Brand in Los Angeles, CA; Roosevelt Field on Long Island in Garden City, NY; and The Galleria in Houston, TX.

Visitors to these retail experience stores will get the chance to learn about and purchase the newest products—from Galaxy smartphones, tablets and wearables, to TVs and SmartThings devices, as well as get hands-on with new products and receive in-person demos from Samsung experts. In addition, visitors can receive customer support and assistance, including walk-in repair for their mobile device.

“Our new Samsung Experience Stores are spaces to experience and see Samsung technology brought to life, to empower people to do what they never thought was possible before” said YH Eom, president & CEO, Samsung Electronics America. “We want to build a ‘playground’ for Samsung fans—a place to learn about and try out all of the amazing new products we have to offer.”

In store, shoppers will be able to interact with eye-popping 4D VR and go head-to-head with their friends in an immersive 4K gaming lounge. They’ll also get see Samsung’s latest 8K TVs, create their AR emoji and more.

In addition to the Samsung Experience Stores, starting in March Samsung is also embarking on a new pop-up tour.
