Solving Omnichannel's Biggest Challenge

Technology investment is only part of the equation when transitioning from traditional retailing to the omnichannel model. The hardest part often involves "de-siloing" the enterprise, which requires clear leadership and collaboration from all departments in the organization

At the 2015 Retail Executive Summit, Anoop Kulshreshtha, vice president, web technology, Barneys New York will explore the customer-facing technology and organizational maturity challenges retailers must tackle when making the necessary transition to omnichannel. In addition to discussing the challenges Kulshreshtha will provide real world solutions.

Kulshreshtha has 15 years of experience in architecting and implementing e-commerce and digital transformation solutions. His key areas of interest are omnichannel strategy, master data management, service oriented architecture, mobile computing, business process reengineering and cross channel digital strategy. Prior to Barneys, Anoop served as director of web technology at The Vitamin Shoppe where he was actively engaged in creating omnichannel strategy for the organization.

The Retail Executive Summit will be held June 17-19 at the Montage Resort in Laguna, California. The conference will feature keynotes from retail leaders, peer-to-peer exchanges, a golf outing, the annual CIO of the Year Awards, networking opportunities and relationship building.
