Talbots to Use Customer Preferences and Size Profiles to Localize Assortments

To help identify customer preferences and localize its merchandise offerings based on buying patterns, size profiles and other key attributes, Talbots will use the Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization suite of applications, including Oracle Retail Assortment Planning, Size Profile Optimization and Merchandise Financial Planning.

Talbots will use the solutions to improve its store productivity and inventory performance, and will make use of Oracle Retail Consulting services to launch and fully utilize the applications' features.
