Target’s CIO Answers Five Questions

Target announced in February Mike McNamara would assume the role of executive vice president and chief information officer. As the company’s top technology leader, McNamara is working to advance Target’s digital transformation.

McNamara joined Target from UK-based Tesco PLC, where he worked for more than 15 years. In 2011, McNamara was named the global supermarket chain’s chief information officer, with responsibility for all information technology systems, and was instrumental in modernizing and advancing Tesco’s IT and supply chain worldwide, which helped establish Tesco as an e-commerce pioneer that’s now one of the world’s largest online grocers.

Just a few weeks into his position, McNamara answered five questions in an interview published on Target’s A Bullseye View blog. Click here to read McNamara's thoughts on Target, and what he hopes to help his teams accomplish in the coming months.
