Toys "R" Us Brings in New CIO

Toys ‘R’ Us Inc. has hired a new chief information officer.  Phil Newmoyer is the new CIO for the toy company, coming from the position of CIO and SVP of Serta Simmons Bedding where he worked for two years, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Prior to Serta, he was a principal at boutique management consulting firm WGroup and Vice President, Global Information Technology for International biotechnology company Genmab.

Toys ‘R’ Us announced last year that is would bring its U.S. e-commerce operations in-house, including building and managing a new platform for, and, by the end of Summer 2016.
