True Religion Appoints New CEO

True Religion Apparel, Inc. appointed John Ermatinger as CEO, effective immediately. Current CEO, David Conn, is stepping down. Ermatinger, a seasoned executive who has been serving as True Religion's interim senior vice president of global sourcing and production, will build on the strategic initiatives that have been implemented since TowerBrook's acquisition in July 2013 and will guide the company into its next phase of development.

"John is a seasoned industry veteran who will lead True Religion towards more accelerated growth," said True Religion board chairman John Anderson. "His strong management skills, deep experience at leading apparel companies and appreciation for high quality product is the right combination to drive True Religion's transformation forward. On behalf of TowerBrook and the Board, I thank David for his leadership and his contributions which resulted in significant progress across the business."

Ermatinger has served as the CEO of Tommy Hilfiger (Asia Pacific), President of Gap Inc. (Asia Pacific), President of the Americas for Levi Strauss & Co., as well as General Manager of Nike (Asia Pacific).
