Tuscarora Yarns, CloverTex LLC Announce Merger
Specialty U.S. yarn spinners Tuscarora Yarns and CloverTex have announced that they will merge their companies and operate jointly under the Tuscarora Yarns Inc. name.
Under the merger, Gastonia, NC headquartered Tuscarora, with yarn manufacturing facilities in the North Carolina cities of Mt. Pleasant, China Grove and Oakboro, and CloverTex. with a manufacturing facility in Clover, SC, plan for all facilities to continue operations. According to the companies, the merger is intended to yield efficiencies in providing specialty colored yarns globally.
