Direct home shopping retailer N Brown Group has gone live with TradeStone Software's Quality Management module.
The Quality Management tool was added to the company's recently implemented TradeStone Sourcing and TradeStone PLM for Retail solutions to give it more control over its merchandise lifecycle.
The solution helps to reduce returns and improve customer satisfaction by ensuring that the fit and quality of N Brown's merchandise is consistent across its wide spectrum of apparel and corsetry offerings. The company operates almost 30 catalog brands offering a huge selection of clothing and products for all ages and sizes, but specializes in plus-sized women's wear.
The quality management solution enables U.K.-based N Brown to "get fit right the first time around, [saving] significant time and money and building customer loyalty," said Paul Short, buying and merchandising director.
The solution also allows the company to enhance accuracy and accountability of sample measurement, reduce turn-around time for samples, increase the number of collections and maintain a more accurate sample history online from previous seasons.
