Target is in the midst of a major store remodeling project, with the goal of revamping more than 1,000 locations by the end of next year. The goal of the massive undertaking is to provide customers with an easy and more inspiring shopping experience.

Each one of the retailer’s remodeled stores is unique. The store are customized to the needs of its local shoppers and their neighborhoods.

While each location is personalized to the local market, every store has a number of key attributes in common. In a recent post on its popular Bullseye View blog the retailer laid out some of the traits that each store features including: increased fulfillment options (in-store pickup counters or designated drive up lanes); brighter LED lighting; new décor; and inviting, warm and modern spaces.

Key department including beauty, toys, baby, home, sleep and intimates, food and beverage have been redesigned to provide more inspiring experiences for customers.
