Visit the NRF Innovation Lab and Experience the Future of Retail Tech

1/8/2016
One of the best things about the NRF Big Show is the ability to see and learn about the cutting edge technology that will define the retail experience now and in the future. At the NRF Innovation Lab (iLab), located on EXPO Level 1, Booth 1151, attendees will be able to see, touch and experience some of the most interesting and innovative products finding their way into the marketplace and some that are still on the drawing board.

The iLab products from the health, food, personal technology, wearables segments and more and were picked to both give attendees a glimpse into the future and inspire retailers to continue to innovate to keep pace with the technological leaders.

Among the technology on display will be Pepper, the first humanoid robot that reads human emotions and can speak in multiple languages. Visitors can also check out a state-of-the-art 3D printer and learn how it’s being used to customize products from bridal gowns to door knobs.

In addition to the iLab experience, the NRF will also be offering an educational session based on the technology on display. The NRF iLab Serves Up New Product Innovation and Inspiration breakout session will be held Monday 11:15–12:00 pm on Level 1 EXPO Hall, EXPO Stage.

The session will feature Lee Shupp, managing director, insights and strategy, Speck Design; Eric Stevenson, director, The Americas Aldebaran Robotics; Teresa Hammond, VP, marketing, 4moms; and
Craig Fleishman, SVP, corporate development, Rebecca Minkoff and explore the trends that are creating a surge in product advancements and see how they’ve been translated into innovative solutions.
