Walmart, Duane Reade Offer Print-to-Store Services

10/30/2009
Walmart and Duane Reade partner with Snapfish by HP to provide customers with lab-quality photo prints or photo cards in one hour. Customers order prints on Snapfish.com and can pick up from any of the 3,350 participating Walmart stores nationwide.

Beginning November 14, 2009, Snapfish customers also will be able to pick up lab-quality photos from any of the 200 Duane Reade locations in the New York City area. Duane Reade customers also will have the option to collect large poster prints, wall calendars, hardcover photo books and photo cards at select stores.

The collaboration with Duane Reade extends HP's relationship with the retailer following an announcement earlier this year regarding the implementation of HP Retail Publishing Solutions in more than 200 stores. The web-to-store functionality powered by Snapfish in combination with the in-store hardware from HP allows consumers to create photo products online for pickup at Duane Reade stores, using HP services throughout the process.
