Which twenty-five retailers are knocking it out of the park when it comes to their work environment?

To answer this, job listing site Indeed’s data analytics team dove into over 180 million ratings and reviews listed on Indeed Company Pages to determine this years Top-Rated Workplaces: Best Retailers.

The winner? For the third year in a row, H-E-B was named the number one top-rated workplace for retailers. As the largest privately-held employer in Texas, H-E-B has 116,000 “partners” in its workforce and operates more than 400 stores in Texas and Mexico.

Indeed states that many employees appreciate the “tight-knit culture and family-oriented values.” One partner states, “H-E-B is by far one of the best places to work in the state of Texas. If you get hired here, it’s one job you would really want to keep.” While another partner says the company offers “flexible hours, fun environment and staff that cares.”

With digital consumerism leading to ongoing disruption within retail, H-E-B continues to strengthen its position as a leading digital retailer and brick-and-mortar business. The company said it is dedicated to hiring people who provide exceptional hospitality and opening new stores to deliver world-class shopping and digital experiences.

Rounding out the top five best retailers are Vans, Costco Wholesale, Nike, and Wegmans.

Following the supermarket trend is Quiktrip at number six and Publix at number nine. Both grocery store chains are on the rise. Both Sephora at number 12 and American Eagle Outfitters at number 16 are back again on this year’s list. And department stores wrap up this year’s list of retailers, with T.J. Maxx at number 21, Kohl’s at number 22 and Marshall’s at number 24.
