XCVI Deploys Springboard Retail Cloud POS

Casual chic lifestyle brand XCVI chose Springboard Retail, a cloud POS and retail management platform, to accelerate sales, profits and customer engagement as it continues to expand stores throughout the Western U.S.

When XCVI launched its pop-up shop project in 2012, executives searched for an easy-to-use but powerful POS solution. They didn't want to have to pack, unpack and travel with a cumbersome legacy POS as they managed the mobile store. They initially chose Square, which was good for processing payments but little else. After a few months they moved to ShopKeep, which allowed them to better track inventory. However, as the project grew, and XCVI opened several more shops, executives found they needed deeper functionality and outgrew ShopKeep – which also lacked a central control, requiring them to manage inventory, customers and transactions at each store separately.

They were looking for a powerful, feature-rich cloud POS system that supported inventory management across multiple stores and provided robust end-to-end functionality. Executives chose Springboard Retail and have been very pleased not only by its deep functionality but also its ease of use.
