Xterprise Changes Name to SML Intelligent Inventory Solutions

Xterprise LLC, the item-level RFID software subsidiary of SML Group, has changed its name to SML Intelligent Inventory Solutions (SML IIS) to better reflect its ability to provide leading edge RFID-enabled inventory management solutions to the apparel market. The re-branding of the company supports SML's ongoing commitment to transform itself from one of the largest and most successful packaging and trim providers in the world to an information technology solutions leader serving retailers and apparel manufacturers globally.

Since acquiring Xterprise in June 2013, SML Group has been able to combine its industry leading RFID tags and inlays with Xterprise's best-in-class Clarity™ software suite to win numerous key accounts by creating innovative and cost effective solution bundles that allow customers to quickly, easily and affordably deploy item-level RFID on an enterprise scale. Changing the name to SML Intelligent Inventory Solutions is the next logical step in bringing this unique spectrum of value propositions and product offerings from SML to market.

SML IIS will continue offering its flagship inventory management software suite under the Clarity brand.
