Advance Auto Parts Promotes New Loyalty Program with Labor Day Promotion
Advance Auto Parts has launched a Labor Day weekend promotion tied to its new Speed Perks loyalty rewards program, which is rolled out last month.
The automotive parts retailer is offering its Speed Perks Members double points on Pennzoil synthetic motor oil, Gold and Platinum batteries and Carquest Platinum brake pads and rotors at its more than 4,300 stores across the U.S. from August 29 to September 2. In addition, customers can also stop in from August 29 to September 30 to enter to win a completely restored 1967 Chevy Camaro RS.
“This Labor Day weekend, we are honoring our hard-working Speed Perks Members with double points on several products that will help keep their vehicles on the road,” said Jason McDonell, EVP, CMO. “We’re also thanking all of our customers for their loyalty by giving them a chance to win a classic 1967 Chevy Camaro RS that will be the envy of any car lover.”

Advance launched its new Speed Perks rewards program last month allowing members to start earning $5 Perks Bucks after spending as little as $40 online or at any Advance Auto Parts and company-owned Carquest stores. Perks Bucks can be used to purchase any of the thousands of items offered in store or online.
“Our new Speed Perks program has been well received by new and existing members alike and we believe our double points weekend and our new sweepstakes are another way we’re enhancing the customer experience and providing new, value-added benefits to our customers,” said McDonell.
Speed Perks offers customers three different membership levels – Club, VIP and Elite – each based on total spend during the calendar year. Customers who spend up to $200 in a calendar year will earn rewards at the Club level, including 10 points for every $1 spent. Customers who spend between $200 and $500 in a calendar year will earn rewards at the VIP level, including earning 11 points for every $1 spent. Customers spending $500 or more in a calendar year will earn rewards at the Elite level, including earning 12.5 points for every $1 spent.
