8/13/2012
A&P Supermarkets (Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co.) has announced that as a result of a partnership over the last 18 months with Radian, it has established a number of core business processes, including category business planning, sourcing, store remodeling, promotional planning, store clustering and category reporting. Radian's analytically-driven approach and extensive expertise in food retailing supports companies from strategic planning through implementation.

"Radian has been a great partner in re-architecting our merchandising vision and establishing core business process and planning capabilities during our reorganization," said Tom O'Boyle, A&P's EVP of merchandising and marketing. "Their support of our initiatives has resulted in significant, measurable sales and margin benefits."

A&P announced it had consummated its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as a privately held company on March 13, 2012.
