Data Breach Prevention and Recovery

02/12/2015
If sophisticated cyber criminals want into your network, they are getting in. The best retailers can hope for is to recognize the breach swiftly, limit the damage and quickly begin the recovery process.

At RetailTechCon 2015, Chris Gullett, director, information security at Allegiant Travel Company will discuss the measures his company has taken to shore up its digital defenses in the age of the data breach. In addition, the "Security: A Multi-Industry Perspective" session will explore how retailers can recover quickly if, and most likely when, a breach occurs.

Gullett designed and manages the information assurance and information security programs at Allegiant Travel Company, an innovative travel services company that is one of Forbes’ “America’s Best Small Companies.” Prior to Allegiant, Gullett started the information security program at the world's leading casino gaming systems manufacturer — International Game Technology. Gullett also served as Information Security Architect at global hospitality company MGM Resorts International and as an IT consultant to Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

The 2015 RetailTechCon will be held March 25-27, at the Hyatt Regency, Orlando, Florida. The conference features keynotes from retail leaders, peer-to-peer exchanges, relationship building, and a golf outing. For more information, to view the full agenda, or to register for the event click here.
