Former Petco CIO Named CCRES Honorary Chairperson

Herman Nell, CIO (in transition) for Petco, will join the RIS News 2013 Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit on Friday, September 27, 2013 as Honorary Chairperson. As an honorary chairperson Nell will help to set the tone of the conference during his opening and closing comments as well as form the content for the event.  
 
Nell joined Petco in 2008 as a senior business executive, bringing more than 20 years of global management experience in the fields of information technology, accounting and finance as well as extensive experience in large-scale enterprise systems transformations. Nell is also a member of the NRF CIO Council.
 
The seventh annual Cross-Channel Retail Executive Summit (CCRES) will be held September 25 – 27, 2013 at the Four Seasons in Dallas, Texas. The Cross-Channel event in conjunction with the Mobile Convergence Forum engages high-level retailers with thought-provoking keynote sessions and a series of concurrent workshops as well as intimate networking opportunities where retailers enjoy an ideal environment for sharing ideas and experiences with their peers.
