D’Loren has been an entrepreneur, innovator and pioneer of the media and entertainment and consumer branded products industries for the past 35 years. Since Xcel Brands' founding in 2011, D’Loren has spearheaded its unique ubiquitous channel platform, connecting the channels of digital, bricks and mortar, social media and interactive television to create a single customer view and brand experience for Xcel’s Brands. He has acquired and/or invested in over 35 consumer products and media and entertainment companies and other investments with an aggregate transaction value of over $3 billion.
He also serves as Chairman of IPX Capital, LLC and related subsidiaries, a consumer products investment company. D’Loren has served on the Board of Directors for Iconix Brand Group, NexCen Brands, Longaberger Company, The Athletes Foot, Bill Blass, Ltd., and others. Also, he serves on the Board of Directors for Achilles International. D’Loren is a certified public accountant and holds an M.S. from Columbia University and a B.S. from New York University.
