Marks and Spencer Rolls Out Reflexis' Workload Optimizer

Reflexis Systems Inc. announced yesterday that Marks and Spencer (M&S), the largest clothing retailer in the UK, has rolled out Reflexis Workload Optimizer across its UK store portfolio.

The Reflexis web-based solution will enable Marks and Spencer to plan store and marketing activities more efficiently by consolidating projects from multiple spreadsheets into one live schedule.

Simon Ramskill, Marks and Sepncer's head of IT foundation, said: "We selected the Reflexis system as it provided the best solution to manage the planning complexities of M&S, providing visibility of activities and workload by organisation, store, and individual roles."

OP Choudhary, head of operations for Reflexis EMEA, said, "We are delighted that M&S has taken this opportunity to utilize our long-term workload planning module."

Marks and Spencer is the UK's leading retailer of clothing, food and home products and claims more than 21 million UK customers.

According to Reflexis, headquartered in Dedham, Massachusetts, its workforce management/task execution solutions help retailers execute their strategy flawlessly and uncover profit.

Reflexis says its retail customers have reported dramatic improvements in store-level compliance with corporate strategies; higher productivity of merchandising, field, and store management; and increased sales and profitability.
