The Millennial generation is redefining how it discovers and researches products, shops, shares and converses with brands and retailers. In response retailers are reinventing themselves to engage with and understand the Millennial shopper.

At Engage! 2014, Sahir Anand, VP research and principal analyst at EKN Research will explore the retail transformation targeted at engaging with the most important segment of shoppers. Attendees of the "Next-Gen Shopper Experience: A Millennial Consumer Perspective & Retail's Response" session will learn how they can align their businesses with Millennial preferences.

Anand has spent the last 14 years in retail sales and service operations, market research, content marketing, advisory/consulting, product marketing and sales/business development. Recent corporate strategy and marketing experience includes stints at Trace One where he worked with Walgreen’s, Wal-Mart and Safeway and the Aberdeen Group where he worked for six years within the retail, CPG, and hospitality group. Sahir is a frequent speaker at industry events and is often quoted in general and industry media.

Engage! 2014 will be held October 8-10, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
