Parker Avery Group to Reveal Assortment Planning Study Findings at Apparel East in October

The Parker Avery Institute, the research arm of The Parker Avery Group, launched its 2015 research study focused on retail assortment planning. Titled "Unraveling the Mysteries of Assortment Planning," this study seeks to explore retailer perspectives on the subject, comprehend the many definitions of assortment planning across the retail landscape, and explore variations in how assortment planning is used in today's omnichannel retail environment. Parker Avery will also investigate the use of assortment planning tools and solutions, as well as retailers' existing and desired capabilities to support this strategic retail business process.

The study will be conducted during July and August of 2015, with the final report to be published in November. In addition to the study findings, Parker Avery will provide insights on how retailers can leverage assortment planning tools and industry leading processes to achieve success in driving alignment between assortments and customer demand as well as enhancing profitability.

Parker Avery's president and managing partner, Clay Parnell, will present the study's key findings and insights at Apparel Magazine's acclaimed "Apparel East" fashion retail event to be held Oct. 29 in New York City. Click here for more details about Apparel East.
