Release of Mobile POS Commands Retail

Celerant Technology partnered with Motion Computing to provide a mobile POS that can be used anywhere in the store. Celerant's Command Retail POS module is available on the Motion SlateMate with a magnetic stripe reader and a barcode scanner.

 

The mobile POS allows retailers to complete sales transactions away from a register. The Motion SlateMate is a tabletPC, which running Command Retail, can ring up sales, process credit cards and wirelessly print or email receipts. Retailers will also be able to line bust, create gift registries which integrate with Celerant e-commerce site and create quotes by scanning items on the sales floor.

 

Earlier this year, Celerant Command Mobile Applications was released for back-office functions that run on most mobile devices.
