Rocky Brands Resumes Footwear Production in Puerto Rico

Rocky Brands says all Puerto Rico employees are safe following Hurricane Maria, but that the storm's interruption will delay shipments of $1.7 million of military footwear.

According to Rocky Brands, Inc., employees in Puerto Rico are all reported to be safe and the company’s manufacturing facility sustained no damage during Hurricane Maria.

“First and foremost we are extremely pleased that our employees and their families in Puerto Rico are all safe," said Jason Brooks, president and CEO. "With the vast majority of the island still without power, we are fortunate to have diesel generators in place that have allowed us to resume operations today. While approximately $1.7 million of military footwear shipments were delayed from the third quarter to the fourth quarter, we expect the impact of Hurricane Maria on our full year results to be minimal.”
