Spencer's Next-Gen WFM Solution Aligns Labor with Corporate Strategy
Spencer's, a leading retailer known for entertainment, excitement and fun at malls across the U.S. and Canada, has selected key Infor workforce management (WFM) applications to improve labor planning, scheduling, budgeting and performance.
The solutions will be deployed at the retailers more than 650 Spencer's locations and 1,300 Spirit Halloween locations. Infor WFM is a comprehensive solution that is designed to help align labor management with corporate strategy. Integrated modules, address forecasting and budgeting, scheduling, time and attendance, performance management, and compliance, streamline processes and increase efficiency while encouraging employees to focus on activities that can generate more value.
Spencer’s currently utilizesInfor Learning Management Systems to help keep its associates engaged with easy access to content and collaboration tools. The retailer decided to extend its partnership with Infor to better forecast and manage both direct and indirect labor needs based on varied demand drivers.

Spencer's can now provide tools to create and edit sophisticated schedules by automatically assigning employees to meet required demand. Users can easily find appropriate replacement employees when necessary, access real-time workload coverage indicators and key workforce summary statistics, and enables line managers to post open shifts to select employees. In addition, Spencer's can develop schedules mathematically, considering all potential variables that affect their business in real time to consistently create optimized schedules. Managers can even modify schedules or fill unexpected gaps as they happen
