The Talent to Ensure Analytics Success

08/24/2014
The power of analytics is undeniable, but without the personal in place to effectively manage and act on the insights there is little benefit to retailers. As companies depend more and more on analytics and insights, one of the biggest hurdles they face is managing the personnel to execute on those big-data-fueled strategies.

At the inaugural Retail & Consumer Goods Analytics Summit, Glenn Wegryn, retired associate director, analytics, Procter & Gamble, will addresses the challenges of attracting and retaining top talent that possess both the business acumen and technology savvy to drive analytics initiatives at the "Building the Talent Capabilities to Ensure Analytics Success" general session presentation.

Wegryn created and led Procter & Gamble’s global analytics group that brought advanced and rigorous analytical approaches to hundreds of projects around the world.  Over a 20-year time period they influenced billions of dollars in decisions for the company. Wegryn retired from P&G in 2012 and founded Analytic Impact LLC, an independent consultancy providing supply chain analysis and analytic thought leadership to organizations looking to gain a competitive advantage.

The Retail & Consumer Goods Analytics Summit event will be held September 11-12, 2014 at the W Hotel in San Diego, California. The conference will feature keynotes from retail and consumer goods leaders, peer-to-peer exchanges and relationship building.
