As part of Target’s efforts to ramp up investments in the store shopping experience, the retailer said it’s giving around 150 stores a “major glow-up.”

What does a “glow-up” include? According to the retailer, the remodeled stores will undergo top-to-bottom makeovers including modern fixtures, enhanced experiences and the latest in health and safety.

Target has remodeled more than 800 stores over the past four years. In its latest round of remodels, Target said it is expanding and upgrading Guest Services (including using locally sourced wood), as well as Order Pickup and Drive Up areas. Shoppers will also find the latest safety features, from touchless bathroom fixtures to hand sanitizing stations.

Select remodeled locations will also include the new “shop in shop” experiences from Target’s partnerships with Ulta BeautyApple and Disney

Additional remodel options can include the Beauty department getting a “facelift” with updated lighting, wider aisles and new fixtures that inspire shoppers to try the products. Next-generation Grocery remodels highlight grocery items with easier navigation, modern fixtures and updated lighting.
