Williams-Sonoma to Hire 2,500 Work From Home Employees

Williams-Sonoma is looking to hire around 2,500 seasonal, work-from-home customer service associates for the holiday rush.

Retailers across the country are scaling up their workforce in anticipation of a successful holiday shopping blitz. What makes Williams-Sonoma temporary worker hiring foray especially noteworthy is the telecommute component.

As the gig economy continues to take hold across the globe retailers are getting on board, offering flex schedules, and unique work arrangements to attract top talent while simultaneously cutting expenses.

The telecommuting Williams-Sonoma customer service assoicates will be charged with locating products, scheduling deliveries and handling holiday returns, among other administrative tasks.

The seasonal workers will be paid $12 per hour, and have access to a slew of company perks including a 40% discount of Williams-Sonoma products.
